The news all ( well , nearly all ) country fans in the UK have been waiting for has started to break . Following her performance in London on Monday night , Carrie Underwood has been confirmed as the first headliner for next year’s C2C Country to Country festival . The full festival line-up and tickets announcement will be on October 6th with further details about that coming at 5pm today .
Carrie played the inaugural C2C in 2013 and while I wasn’t particularly blown away ( heh ) that time , I’m happy to see her again . Some may complain that she’s not a new name to play over here , but , with the festival now extended to three days , there’s plenty of room for acts we’ve never seen before . Exciting .
